Help me make sense of the following please:
They showed Marlee Matlin in the audience of American Idol last night. Can she really fully appreciate... a singing competition? How does a deaf person develop an invested interest in that? It's all kind of confused.
Prediction: Jordin. I initially thought it would be Blake, but Jordin kind of burned it up last night, and frankly, I think she got the pimp. But I've been wrong almost every other time, with Fantasia as the exception, so we'll see what I know.

- The Eyre Affair Super fun book about what it would be like if you could actually travel inside literature. I wish we could do that more than time travel.

- And the Sea Will Tell It's good. I like Bugliosi a good deal, and the story itself is intriguing. Not as engrossing or as infuriating as Helter Skelter, but still. I like true crime and I really like Bugliosi
- Devil in the White City This book is excellent. It's the story of the 1893 World's Fair in Chicago, and a serial killer going nuts in the city at the same time. Fascinating stuff!
